One of the most celebrated event each year .. to be able to be together with family members and relatives and friends ... waaawwwwww ... coming from a place north of Malaysia ... Alor Setar .. and working in KL ... going back to the kampung is a risky task, especially during festive season ... especially during Raya Eid Fitr
This year I chose to travel at night after Isya using the federal route ... most of the time .. a good decisionn ... clock about 6 hrs to reach Alor Setar from KL ... and it took me about 7 hrs on my return trip on the third day of Raya ....
Suggest those going back north to use these routes between plus highway and the federal route
kl to tanjung malim plus highway
tanjung malim to tapah federal route
tapah to kuala kangsar plus highway
kuala kangsar to sg bakap federal route
sg bakap to juru plus highway
juru to sungai petani south federal route and
sungai petani south to alor setar south federal highway
a great night trip for me (but took a good sleep during the day.
